And yet already BAe types like the The One-Eleven and Concorde became EADS/Airbus supported :dunno:

Dee was always an innovator and not against taking a flying leap every now and again. Came up with some great modifications over the years, sadly many were never taken beyond the first modification. His modifications for the Learjet became standard (wing fillet, tip tanks, thrust reversers), his line of modifications to the Lockheed 12 and Ventura are legendary (most Lodestars out there now are Howard 200s or 250s and who can forget his 500), he was one of the biggest converters of surplus bombers and transports into executive aircraft through the 1950s and 1960s, but his work for Ed Swearingen on the Merlin and Metro, the Fokker and Dornier work he did for Fairchild, and his Tay 727's were what paid the bills for him to do things like the BAC 1-11-2400 and dabble in freighter conversions of several types.

I am desperately searching for a video sequence of N650DH in action at Farnborough in 1990 on the web somewhere - however without success.
Must have been filmed though! So if anybody has got a link please let me know... :)

Best,

Nick
