looked near and far for a flightsim version of the avro ashton but could not find one

No one has made one and it is well known here and since none of our resident modellers have made it yet it would seem unlikely

The problem with a lot of these types is poor or none existent reference.

One cannot build a model off a few pics and a sketchy 3D. Many references have to be sourced and often both to even get started.

Basically it was a development of the Tudor

You could always use this.

And use the nene engine sounds from any Vampire. :)

Then if never look outside the cockpit, you'll be flying an Ashton ;)

A long time ago................... No longer than that, :) I'm sure alphasims produced one for.............. erm, FS98 I think.
I may even still have it on a dusty floppy disc. (I don't like to throw things out. You never know!) :-O

Really? they produced a lot of 'unique' stuff, I wasn't aware that was one of them, but if it was expect a begging e-mail from me haha!
