Unless you fly with the VA where you're limited to 250KIAS below 10000FT ;)

That's as maybe, but the TSR2 will always be a beautiful piece of engineering, the 737 will always look better as a Baked Bean can :agree: ;)

I meant to suggest that there are so many of them that your campaign to obliterate them looks pretty hopeless. :(

I have a similar phobia about spiders and when I was a kid I really believed that if I killed every one I saw I might actually rid the world of the awful things. As I got older I read that there are about 130 of them in every square metre and I began to realise that I wouldn't live long enough to achieve my goal and had to accept their existence. Considering how quickly 737s can breed in the right environment, you might have to accept defeat as well

In fact, I've mellowed so much that I gave one a second chance the other day (a spider - not a 737). It was in the bath and I gave it a ladder of bog roll to let it climb on to the ledge and another ladder up to the window. I had some explaining to do when the present Mrs Speedbird saw it and asked something like 'wtf?' :wasntme:

So when you get older you might just have to accept that you will always be within three feet of a Boeing 737 and you might have pity if you find one in your bathtub.

Ian :)

Ah, but those spiders only move on the back of recovery trucks on the way back to the Alpha Garage
