Hi Ben & Frazer

Many thanks for your reply and advice, this is very much appreciated as I do fly the Viscounts regularly.

Did one flight this afternoon from Heathrow to Birmingham, only had time for a short one but given below are the figures:

Heathrow Gate 502 taxy to R/W 09R to Bookman’s Park to Honiley to Birmingham R/W33 taxi to Gate2

Gross Weight – 58964
Fuel Weight – 4409kg
Left Aug = 2204kg
Right Aug = 2204kg

Climb 800 – 1,000fpm to maintain 170 – 180kts @ 14,000rpm
F/L 120 cruise speed 199kts @ 13320rpm
Descent 1,000fpm @ 11,150rpm Speed 194kts

One 360 degree turn required prior to intercepting ILS RW33 due to aircraft ahead.

At Gate 2 Birmingham

Fuel remaining
Left Aux = 601kg
Right Aux = 608kg
Total Fuel Remaining = 1209kg
Total Fuel Used including Taxy = 3199kg

I calculated this from your Virtual Routes Page so fuel used appears to be about right as well as performance?

Kind regards
Nigel.
