You now need to position your battleship off Havant and target the FTX headquarters. One shell could sort out the whole business once and for all  Ian :)
Oi! You just watch what you're doing. I live in Havant and I will not be amused if you drop one of your shells down my chimney by mistake!!!

Bl*%@y vandals!

Hi Guys!

Its a shame your not finding our Product satisfactory!

Could you please point out some of the things you would like improved and we can see what we can add for you.

Here at SIM720 working for ORBX we want to include as much feedback that you can give us in the next patch however we cant do that until you guys let us know!

Please feel free to jump over to the ORBX forum and let us know what you want changing or added.

Thanks

Hi Sam and welcome to the mad house

In reality, feedback here has been on the thin side.. not much 'Meat' if you will. The one guy has green beaches.. another has a problem with a copy function but other than these.. not much for us to see or rave about. I was expecting plenty of screenshots but very few have been posted. We've had a laugh about HMS Belfast being replaced by an American cruiser in the pool of London and of course.. white houses. Not sure what you could do about the latter as these appear to be stock autogen but Belfast can be swapped for something a little more suitable I hope. :)

Quite frankly, the main disappointment (for me) has been a lack of screenshots from members who've bought it.. many of us want to see more before we decide.. outside the excellent screenshot gallery at FTX. A lot of money has been invested by the vast majority in GenX/Treescapes/UTX/GEX and this is a lot to let go of. Had we not been 'spoiled' by these, I'm darned sure we'd have all been down your throat like a feret down a hole without having tried the demo's

So.. don't be disheartened. A LOT of members are sitting with their finger on the trigger just waiting to buy it and given a bit more user feedback, more will buy it I'm sure ;)

No Mike.. that's FSX  KGV model is by DeltaSim (payware) and unfortunately, the shell hits don't cause any actual damage.. mores the pity

Don't really know why I bought it.. I have their Graf Spee too. They're great looking models though and I guess being an old salt.. I couldn't resist ;)

Yes, I'm one of them. We're upgrading the Lightning sim at Tangmere to use real instruments next month and I'm taking the oportunity to move it across from FS2004 to FS-X/P3D. I'm considering using ORBX England but am looking for as much info as possible before spending the museum's money. As the design team seem to be Havant-based like me, perhaps I could get them to come along to Tangmere and let us know what they could do for us. ;)

The reason why I've posted no screenshots other than USS Belfast is that I have FTX England installed on FSX and am awaiting an update to the Orbx migrator tool so I can point P3D at it. And before anyone says ' England has a dual installer' yes I know, but a) I want it in FSX just in case a new version of P3D comes along and b) I dont want to install it twice and take up double the disc space. And as I don't actually fly in FSX much anymore, I have yet to really explore outside London.

In fact, I've only flown around London in order to compare it to Horizonsims VFR London, so apart from the other Thames-based anomalies ( such as a container ship moored at Canary Wharf - I kid you not ) I have yet to find out whether I am disappointed or not. From the screenshots other people are posting, I think I will like it a great deal. :)

Hi Sam, welcome!

I wouldnt say i dont find it unsatifactory, more so so at the moment. Dont get me wrong i like it over just my UTX install as that was a landclass and roads etc where as the ORBX i feel is more and it deffinatly makes my England look much better. But, yes theres a but, there is things that need attention, for instance the Green Beaches at Donna Nook and around the Wash. I would also point out that the River around my old home town of Wainfleet is missing, there are little strips of the northen part however the southern part is missing, the roads however do look to be correct though.

Is there any plans for Wales and Scotland as this would complete the UK very nicely?
