Now there's a blast from the past. I remember these featuring on the 6 o'clock news when I was a kid. Must have been when they were introduced... or was it "Tomorrows World" can't remember but worthy of being modelled :thumbsup:

There is one for FS2004 at Flightsim.com file name " optica4.zip ".

The old one works well as AI in FSX, unfortunately there isn't a pilot :dunno:

An interesting subject and due for an update :thumbsup: I had the FS9 model.. boy, does that seem like a long time ago or what :-O Thanks for the HU Brian ;)

Nice to know they're still flying. One of the few truly unique modern aircraft designs. I've used the FS9 version for years to examine new scenery from above. The vis and slow flight of a helo with conventional handling. Nothing like it. Pity it wasn't a real world success.

There are a couple in the US and a couiple in Australia.

G-BOPO has been restored as a demo aircraft as there is a hope of re starting production.
