Mosquito Yoke

Post by TrafficPilot »

Hi all,

Have just discovered the lovely Mosquito available for download here! What a gorgeous looking aeroplane. Sounds good too!

One question if anyone knows the answer?

Most of the Mosquito pix and vids I've seen have a single "Spitfire style" control grip/joystick but the FSX model has a yoke. Was the yoke something they switched to in later models of the aircraft?

I have tried flying it with my Yoke but am over-controlling rather alot so may switch to a joystick for finer control.

Thanks again for a lovely looking aircraft.

Adam

 we was just discussing this in the beta forum, surprised no-one had commented on it.

Bomber type Mossies all had the yoke type, and the fighter marks had the single stick. There are bound to be exceptions to this, but that's the general rule.

Ah! That sounds entirely logical. Thanks Dave.

I'm all over the place with the Yoke but using my MS FF stick it flies beautifully and trims out very nicely so I'll just ignore the VC graphics and pretend it's a bomber with a stick

Thanks so much for this aeroplane.

Just uploaded a couple of pix to AVSIM with credits.
