I don't think the Islander in the film had such a pointy nose George

It's possible although with Aberporth seriously underperforming in attracting the kind of unmanned research it was set up to attract with a lot of Welsh Assembly money funding a new research park, I suspect the recent announcement that the Snowdonia National Park had finally granted permission for aircraft disassembly in the hangars at Llanbedr, and a YouTube video advertising the site as a motorsport experience circuit are more likely short term uses. It's virtually the same business model as the owners have applied to Kemble.Dev One wrote:MarkW,
I understand that you might be going back to the 'dark ages' of Llanbedr next year - I hear drone flying will maybe reappear!

That said, it does have a valid "Lawful Use Certificate" for unmanned flying so who knows. By the way have you seen the Facebook supporters page for Llanbedr? There have been quite a few pictures posted on there of past crew and activities which might be of interest.
