Taxi the Auster in FSX at a bit more than fast walking pace then open the door by accident as I did and get a mouthful....... totally unexpected it was!!! :-O

Oh Yes!!! To DaveG and all involved, the Auster is absolutely brilliant in FSX not only in the way it has been modelled but also in flight, a big thank you for all your hard work!! :welldone:

Kind regards
Nigel

The Auster has been on my HD almost two years, and I never noticed that "colorful" feature until now. :$

I prefer my FS passengers to be like my landings - rough, foul, and ill-tempered. Fits the bill quite nicely!

Ah, but of course you should have noticed it.

You'll have to rewrite the awful 'Too low, terrain', 'Pull up' and 'Sink rate' sound files to something more suitable too Dave

Does anyone remember Janes f15 ?
When you crashed the `guy in back` used to let out the most horrid, blood curdling scream. It used to scare the hell out of me!
Also the GIB used the say a sarcastic `well that was clever` if you dropped your bombs too low and incinerated your squadron.
Went something like;
GIb "bombs gone!"
Wingman2 "I'm hit, going in!"
Wingman3 "I'm hit, ejecting!"
Wingman4 "I'm hit, going in!"
Gib "Well, that was clever!"
Bitching Betty "Engine 1 flameout, Engine 2 flameout, AB Burn through Left, Ab Burn through right!"
Shortly followed by you ejecting!

I remember 'Flight Unlimited' would give you a 'verbal' if you buzzed the tower

One of the strangest 'in game' radio calls I ever had was 'Welcome home.. we have you in sight' in CFS1. It was on a Mustang mission and I was able to repeat it. 'We have you in sight' doesn't sound odd unless you consider I was well over deepest France at the time and my home airfield was in good old Blighty :-O

I think it was CFS2 or 3 that said "we're really putting some iron on the target" when you crashed into a ship!

In European Air War your wingmen used to say "Gone winchester!". Doesn't sound strange until you understand that EAW was WW2 and your wingman was flying in a Hurricane!
