HS748 panel v6

Post by jensendk68 »

Dear friends,

Yesterday evening i dowloaded this panel. To my surprise the filename was reffering to fsx? Is there another file somewhere for fs9? I took the chance and installed it according to instructions in the readme, and it seemed to go well. But i seem to be missing a 2C panel folder and the xml-file mentioned together with the cab-file?

Anyway - it worked until i should start the engines. I could not make it complete the startcircle. The ignition light stayed on and i was not allowed to switch the engine selector to the other engine. Reloaded the aircraft with the one engine running, and then i could start the other engine. Again the same heppened. It could not complete the startcircle, and the ignition light stayed on. I must mention i forgot to adjust the fuelswitches to 50%. (Sorry - haven't had time to do another flight and test this). Does this startup problem have anyhing to do with that, or does it perhaps relate to the file version i downloaded?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Kim Jensen

Hi Kim,

If you go to this link http://www.cbfsim.co.uk/cbfs_bb/viewtop ... 13&t=24680

you'll see a link to both the FSX and FS9 versions. Apologies, I seem to have forgotten to upload the FS9 version to the library, I'll try and sort that over the next week or so.

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the link. That worked like a charm. Now I can start the engines without problem.

But on my first flight i had an incident. On final approach i lost both engines at 500 ft AGL. That caused a little stress suddenly to be in a glider. The only wrong thing I noticed after landing was that i forgot to turn off the de-icing and that my IAS was a little on the low side. Otherwise the checklist was "clean". Can that cause a flame out of an engine - or both as the case was? Will try another testflight tonight.

Regards

Kim

You need to switch on the re-lighters and fuel heaters on approach.

It's little bit of a finicky aircraft, but once you learn it's little foibles it's a delight to use as is
it's sister,the 780.
You could see him thinking "Bleedin'pilots, don't know nuffin. All glammer" He's probably right.
