Does it happen with specific aircraft? It's not something I've ever really noticed when swapping between aircraft, although I am aware you can affect the field of view if you compile a model with a rouge vertex that then has the effect of making FSX think it's bigger than it is.

Hmm, odd but I think like you I've got to the stage of living with FSX's foibles !
As for carrier development, we're getting there! We're vaguely attempting to coordinate it with the Bucc S2 release although if I know people are looking at it on a 42" TV I may have to add some more details...
