Just Flight/Lionheart Tri Pacer

Post by DaveB »

Hi Chaps :)

JF are selling a couple of their models for half price this weekend, one of which is the Tri Pacer by Lionheart making it around £8. Anyone got this and if so, what's it like? Is it worth the dosh at half price?

There are a few of us who bought this when it came out. I posted some shots I think but I can't find them now. Never mind that, though, it's an excellent package and well worth your £8!

Here's what was said at the time:

You've already done enough Brian. Ian's link to the original post was spot-on ;) I nipped over to the Outhouse and found 3 G reg repaints for it so I'm a happy bunny now :) (EDIT: forgot to add I also nipped to Allnodes and found another 4 G reg paints by Peter Watkins so I now have 7 Brit paints ;) )

Downloaded it last night (after midnight to avoid bandwidth use) and had a quick blast. First impressions are that it's very small inside isn't it. Think I need something like Ben's Cinemascope monitor to read the instruments :-O I wasn't that keen on seeing a warning that some of the files it wanted to change were default during the install. I said 'No' first of all and the install stopped there leaving me no option but to say 'Yes' to overwrite :|

Anyhoo.. I'm pretty happy with my £8.49's worth thus far ;)
