Peter -
I do love the detail in FLIGHT's Hawaii scenery.
Great to see someone else enjoying it.
Interested to know what you think of the Bradshaw landing challenge, (Icon A5 Landing Challenge 3).
Have you tried it, (or any of the others) ?

Same airfield as this AOTD, & flying the Icon in similar weather.petermcleland wrote:I can't remember which one that was...basys wrote:Bradshaw landing challenge, (Icon A5 Landing Challenge 3)
LOL, enjoyed that, though took me a few more attempts.petermcleland wrote:I do remember completing a rather difficult curved water landing after about four go-arounds.
Something to look forward to.petermcleland wrote:I have not yet tried any landing challenges in any other aeroplanes but I will get around to them all in time.
Personally enjoy the AOTD's, giving me a reason to fire up the sim, if only for a short flight.petermcleland wrote:I do the daily Aerocache now that I have run out of doable ones in the lists.

I'd mean't to ask from your perspective as a RW pilot,
what you thought of FLIGHT's Landing Challenges as an introductory/refresher/training mechanism for newbie flight-simmers.

Yes please.petermcleland wrote:I have developed a method for using the range to Aerocache indicator
to lead me to the dificult ones in the Icon which has no radio aids (a recent Aerocache using 2 VOR radials and an altitude for instance).

If you are interested I will describe the method
