Rochester Airport

Post by dodger »

Hi Chaps,

I came across this Video of my local airport in Kent, not the best film but never the less it shows what it's like, it's a shame because it was a better airport but the council have been trying to close it for years, they have now compromised and split the airport in half so we can at least still fly out of the airport and the other half have their trading estate etc,

Nice vid Roger - not sure I'd be too keen to go up in an aircraft with the reg G-OHNO, that's asking for trouble that is! Is that Gazelle still flying?

Looks a good candidate for the ORBX treatment.

Regards,
Chris

Hello Chris,

Yes you are right there with a number like that! as the Video was last year i'm afraid i do not know about that Gazelle,

It certainly gives a old world feel about the place and yes i would love an ORBX rendition of the airfield as it would be a lot cheaper to fly from!!!

Cheers,

Roger.
