No rush as I'm stuck in Bradford for 3 days, but having the swimmers put out of use on Friday so I'll be laid up for a few days which should give me a weekend of flying

Does anyone else find the alt callouts a bit.. rushed, for want of a better word? I don't remember them being like this on the RJ but I can't imagine them being changed for the 146.
Oh, and Dave.. don't forget us FS9ers

I took off from EGLC tonight Dave with a tiny person on my lap and I thought I'd forgotten something as I got the various V callouts when I was 1500ft up!
It may have been me, but I'll try it again when I get back on Thursday.

Ah yes.. tiny people don't help. I was climbing out the other day when the Labrador put her paw on the joystick. Last time she got near it, I had an overspeed in the Vanguard due to her rather large rear end
I don't like the alt callouts on this model at all. Been a long time since I've flown the RJ in FS9 and you know I can barely get the bugger loaded in FSX but I really don't remember them being like this. Must have a listen to the FSX versions.. from within Explorer of course
EDIT: Well.. I dunno if I'm losing my marbles or if it's because I have two lots of 146 installed (QW and CLS) or maybe a mixture of both but it sounds different from Explorer. I'll have to fly it 'in sim' again soon

I saw the paint kit was out just before I went to bed, but didn't have time to grab it. Will do so this evening
I'm sure I read on their forums some were complaining about the call-outs. One of the devs said they were going to be re-recorded to make them slower.

Ah.. cheers Dave
Listening to them 'cold' as it were obviously isn't like listening to them 'in sim'

Downloading the paint kits now, but it's taking forever
The FS9 kit is around 270mb and it's taken half an hour so far with approx 50 min still to go.
The FSX kit is 2 files of around 650mb each so God knows how long that will take
May have them both by the weekend

Good Luck if you got the ARJ in the box like I did. No internet connection on the gamer PC but still got the ARJ to work. Even with the so called conversion, new format doesnt work in my system due to the lack of the internet conection, can't get past the start up - wont accept anything!! Download only bites!!!!!
Just to update you, the box currently available is only the ARJ. The description on the Flight 1 website refers to BOTH;
The Ultimate 146 Collection Boxed Edition includes Avro RJ series for Flight Simulator X and FS2004, a four engined regional aircraft series by British Aerospace. All produced passenger variants have been included, such as the old BAe146-100, -200 and the newer BAe146-300, but also the heavily upgraded Avro RJ series. For your pleasure, every model comes with its own 2D Panel and Virtual Cockpit to fully capture the spirit and identity of these jets.
Update 2; It appears however that a box set (BAE/ARJ) will be released in the future.

Hi DG,
Is there a way to black out windows in the FSX paint kit. I remember this was answered somewhere before, but buggered if I can find it. I'm guessing not if they're modelled?

Hi Ben,
No way on the FSX model I'm afraid. I wish they had added an option to blank them out. Would have been easy enough.
