But he'd pretended to be dead by disappearing to avoid his obligations so it's his own fault

Very true, Garry, I have no sympathy for him. The fact remains that he is alive, while the law insists that he is dead.

Be interesting if someone murdered him. Would they get away with it. "M'lud, how can you kill someone that's already dead?" :dunno:

Bit like me Mike

Years ago they decided there was nothing wrong with me even though In was obviously ill and decided I didn't qualify for benefit

They found I actually had cancer but my stamp had lapsed because I wasn't getting benefit

The law doe not allow them to revere the original decision so my stamp credit remain short an so I still don't qualify for an invalidity pension which is what I should be on.

They made a mistake...I pay :rant:
