Where ignorance is bliss..

Post by Molyned »

My wife (bless her) just answered a phone-call from a 'gentleman' with a foreign accent purporting to be from Windows Technical Department. :worried: Being totally clueless about all things computer, she answered ' not today thanks - we had our windows replaced last year' and replaced the phone. Only then did she tell me in all innocence that we'd just had a call from a double-glazing salesman.

Might try that when they say "vindows", instead of my standard reply.

On a serious note, I have had similar calls informing me that their system was showing that my set up and/or internet were reporting faults to them and was I aware of this.

My reply was written down on a piece of paper and passed to the judge. If I posted it on here, I would be banned.
