Wow hasn't the time flown. :-O

I remember watching G-BOAC arriving for her retirement at Manchester on 05L to a huge cheering crowd.

At the risk of losing my masculinity, I felt my eyes filling up when she taxi'd to the stand. :(

An amazing aircraft that blew the Russian competition out of the water.

Although I did find the TU-144 equally as fascinating. :hide:

In just over ten years time we'll be remembering the last flight of the VC10...(I still prefer that over Concorde.) :hide:
