Clocks Going Back

Post by Garry Russell »

Just the usual reminder for early Sunday 26 ;) and a chance to mention not to be surprised when you turn on FS and the scenery database rebuilds. :-O

So that's 11-3-13 or 3-11-13 then?

When I read the heading, I thought Garry was returning his clocks for warranty claims.

As John has pointed out, we're already on DST.

Last year, some twit published a letter stating that the extra hour of sunlight was contributing to global warming.
Cheers, Mike.

Hi Nigel,

That's the best argument against changing the clocks I've ever heard. Good luck with your retirement.

The contributing to global warming one is a new one to me and pretty compelling as well. :wall: :help:

Yes.. that's one I'd not thought of

I have a similar theory about carbon emissions. I wonder if overall emissions from vehicles would be less if we had less cyclists on the road with queues of traffic stretched out behind them unable to overtake.. all of which would have been home sooner with their engines switched off had the cyclists not been there doing their 'green and healthy' bit causing mobile road blocks in the first place? *-)

All the best Nige ;)
