Dave, spellbound throughout that video. Brave lads indeed putting the ropes (hawsers?) on the bollards (?) [not a great deal of maritime activity and discussion here in the highland goldfields] It may be possible to get your ship that close to shore, after all, we can put seaplanes on the beach. I've often wondered why we don't have more realistic waves around obstacles (don't want much, do I?) We have walking people, birds, swirling engine smoke, but FSX waves are a let down. If you have a suitable roll-off point, there are numerous car ferries available, including the Sealink one I made for Ben, which has animated front & rear doors and seagulls. Ben didn't request moving vehicles, but if you ask nicely, who knows?
TBH I don't know how they would be controlled once they depart the ramps, they'd probably smash into scenery, which would probably terminate the sim.
