Have a look at the reflection of the Intake cover on particularly the No1 and and No3 engines.

Think you could be right Garry as the reflection of the fuselage lettering looks to begin with ROY.

Funny how they can use a new old frame than even older than the past their sell by date ancient VC 10 frames. :dunno:

This is of course cheaper and off the self, but there is something to be said for making our own version purely to retain the skill and capability base.

Those intake covers are poop aren't they 8)

It's all down to two things in the end.. volume and something else :lol: There are so many 707-type airframes knocking around, it's a viable proposition for the manufacturers to keep production of parts that would otherwise be well past their sell by dates. It also helps that you have an aircraft industry able to knock the stuff up which we don't :lol: What do we make here.. engines and wings. Aircraft need both of course but they also need all the other bits too!
