Thinking today of Ian, who gave us such pleasure and entertainment, and an unrivalled example of courage

I'm a bit confused(as usual) because DaveB's email mentioned the funeral as being on Wednesday the 21st but today is the 20th. However,as you say Ian brought us a great deal of pleasure and help. May you rest in peace Ian. :(( EricT

Rest in peace Ian,

Roger.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Ian would have figured something like this would happen to him. Typical irony since his work was in scheduled transportation

Well anyway, we're here for him just the same. An internet wake of sorts.
I brought some finger sandwiches and coffee. I'll set them on the buffet table. ... with cats' hairs.

Hi Fellas :hello:

Unfortunately.. I was pre-occupied at 1300 but have thought about him both yesterday and today. I sincerely hope it WAS today. I cut and paste the info direct from email to here. Maybe we'd better have a quiet thought tomorrow too. Ian would find this amusing I'm sure

Here is Ian's Order of Service

His wife, Karen, has asked that her thanks be passed on for all your kind thoughts today ;)
