In for a penny e t c
Not only have I nabbed the ND/Milvis UH-1 (which I have to say I adore despite a complete and utter lack of UK paints).. I've just got this little baby too..
OK.. the RN livery is fictional but doesn't it look a complete blast

I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT!

It's the Cera Sim Bell 222 (about 30% knocked off in the fspilotshop sale) an it's reet sweet

I've liked the look of it for ages and decided to read the reviews. When the likes of Jordan Moore say it's the best payware model available, one has to be a little impressed so I went hunting for paints and found 3 I like.. the RN jobbie, one for Pan Am and G-NOIR.. all by jeansy.. erstwhile Milvis artiste

You can't just jump in and fly.. well you can but you don't get far

Hydraulics have to be turned on as well as the inverters. Oh.. the blades have a pitch lock on too which has to be released. I sat admiring the model having just flown out to Ark Royal IV (and back) and noticed the rotor blades rocking in the wind. Lovely touch. Perhaps I should have locked them
The UH-1 has had me frustrated all day. I wanted to get rid of the US markings and couldn't understand why the shading on my paint was different to the rest. Some 4hrs later having tried just about everything possible, I realised when I copied the cfg entry, I didn't change the texture folder name. No WONDER it wasn't displaying correctly

Dimwit!

Spurred on by my success.. I bought the Bell
I know helicopters aren't everyones bag but I fly them in FSX all the time. Now I'm moving to FSX.. I see you're all bu99ering off to P3DV2. Well be like that
That's me done now. £30 spent over the 2 models and that's enough for someone who's skint

You watch.. Darren from ES will send me a dit now to say the IoM is available on dvd
