Bowser and Blue are very well known here in Canada and are much loved for their irreverent (and very funny) routines.

They were both born in the UK but moved to Canada as youngsters and grew up in the English quarter of Montreal, Quebec (the only French speaking province in Canada). This fact is reflected in much of their comedy as it is very 'British' in style and many songs/skits poke fun at French speaking Canadians, which is probably why the rest of Canada love them so much.

Perhaps it is because I live in B.C. but I never heard of them. Perhaps it is because I never watch Canadian TV - anyone who ever thought Australian TV was bad never saw our crud.

Maybe they are better known from Ontario to the Maritimes. They've certainly built up a large following over the years.

Graham, having had a routine colonoscppy last Friday, I really enjoed that ..... the music, not the procedure!
