Not strictly true.. There are "ways and means" but as this thread is about law and order I will leave it at that,Jon.M wrote:Unfortunately the free BBC iPlayer isn't available outside the UK.

I've no doubt that there are ways to watch BBC iPlayer outside the UK, but I don't know them. However I grew up in Cheltenham, home of GCHQ, so I probably know a few people who could tell me.
Assuming they're not too busy reading your eMails and watching you on your own web cam.
Hi Joe
How're they hanging?

I use this to listen to Test Match Special when England is playing cricket and they block coverage for non-Brit listeners.Jon.M wrote:I've no doubt that there are ways to watch BBC iPlayer outside the UK, but I don't know them.

No doubt it would also work for the BBC iPlayer for TV shows but I've not tried it.

Torrents thank heaven for them, tonight I watched 2 of the 3 episodes of "BBC Chemistry A Volatile History" by BBC4 (phew there were only 2 Beebs when I lived there). We get nothing like that here. Lined up for next week is a Documentary on Absolute Zero. 'tis a ridiculous situation BBC Canada has to screen 25% Canadian (and that is pretty dire btw) content. The imports we get are Eastenders, Mrs Bucket, Vicar of Dingley(?) and the like, nothing of worth. Oh OK there is Newsnight if I want to get up 7am.
