Banning is never a good idea, some of them are no doubt just disappointed punters. Really, by now it should all be sorted out as it is at heart almost an 8 year old product. Deny this all you like folks but it is the truth, the architecture of the program is antiquated. It is fair enough and justified to ban the persistent troll but not the genuine disappointed complainers. ORBX are like this also, disagree or show any complaint on the forums and BAM! you are out of there.

Hi Alex,
My reading of it was they were only going to ban the trolls, those who were abusive to other member, not people who had an issue with the product.

I must admit to being more than a tad critical of LMs testing (or not testing) and other issues but so far I haven't been banned - maybe I haven't tried hard enough
. There is one individual displaying absolutely breathtaking arrogance to other users (George might know who I mean), which borders on abuse but he's still there. I think the posts that have been deleted contain abuse of LM AND other users.
LM seem to be far more accepting of criticism than certain other sites or maybe they just haven't read all of it yet.
Regards,
Chris

HU, LM have released a hotfix to correct the XML issues.

Haven't tried it myself yet, will do this evening.
A second hotfix is coming to hopefully improve OOM problems.

Re: For those who haven't noticed...
Thanks Dave.
I've just had time for a quick check and my A2A aircraft (Piper Cub and Spitfire) are working correctly along with the pilot and passenger now showing in Ant's Tiger Moth.
Cheers
Kevin

Hi chaps,
very brief report from me. And its all very positive. Nave lights are back, sunken wheels seem to be gone... and I think the sea is even better!

Re: For those who haven't noticed...
Downloaded v2.1 patch and installed following the guide and then got the latest NVidia drivers. Had to set the affinity mask as I had major blurries and now P3d is running in SLI and at 20 FPS. Very happy, would change over to P3d except Tacpack is still FSX only

Re: For those who haven't noticed...
Pardon my ignorance but will Orbx FTX England install correctly into P3Dv2?

Hi Nev,
Funny I was reading a post the other night which seemed to imply not, with folk talking about using one of the migration tools. I think the LM response was along the lines of these guys are our partners and as such they should be supporting the issue with the installer as they've had access to all of the pre release stuff. I'd be inclined to ask over at Orbx for a definitive answer mate.
