I was enjoying it until the last minute. Those tatty overalls are a disgrace!!

In those days you were lucky to have overalls, they were not company provided! It also shows that they were workers (either blue or brown in colour) as opposed to supervisors/paper pushers who usually had white coveralls. Managers of course wore suits..... Jeans & Tee shirts then were in the future......

I like the chap working away wearing his pullover, reminds me of mine that my mum knitted , mind you i was 7yrs in 1948 :lol:
