Combat Helicopters £5 at JF!!

Post by DaveB »

For those of you interested in rotary-wing aircraft, JF are selling 'Combat Helicopters' (Bell UH-1 and Chinook) for a fiver until Thursday :-O

Both models are Milviz/Nemeth so you know what you're getting ;)

Sadly.. no good to me as I already have the Milviz/Nemeth UH-1 and I'm happy enough with the Virtavia Chinook not to need a Milviz version but for those with neither.. you're getting a lot of chopper for a fiver ;)

http://www.justflight.com/

EDIT: The UH-1 is selling for £19.76/$32.30 and the Chinook for £21.35/$34.90 over at Nemeth :-O

Yup - just got the mail and ordered :)

Shame there are no RAF paints for the Chinook, though :(

I do have the Aerosoft UH-1 and maybe one other - also a decent Chinook, though I can't remember where from. I just can't resist a decent offer. I need my Dachdecker....

Well.. for a fiver, I've been tempted to get the MilVis/Nemeth Chinook but fortunately, I have Colin's hammer handy

There are no UK paints for the MV/ND UH-1.. not that I've found and I've looked everywhere. I started doing something CBFS themed for it but the paintkit is a mare! :| I think the Virtavia Chinook comes with at least 1 UK paint and I picked another (not so good) photoreal one up along the way. Never looked for any for the MV/MD model though.

EDIT: There ya go JD.. a Brit paint for the Chinook. Jeansy is a good painter too ;)

Thanks, Chris.

I'm not too bothered about UK paints for the Iroquois, I have some nice ones for the Cerasim AB212, and that's close enough.

Rotary never appealed to me - spend too much time sweeping up the bits when they mammaries up :-#
