Very impressive! :welldone: I love the way they can make the aircraft tumble end over end. :)

Wonderful video Peter, thank you!
Me too, Brian, that, and hanging on the prop, then sliding back into their own smoke.
Cheers, Mike.

Yeah, those things impress me too...And the incredibly large but stable yaw angles he gets! I haven't the faintest idea how those manoeuvres are done :)

Well. of course they have massive control surfaces, so they'll do things that a Piper Warrior won't.
I guess all we can do is fire up an Extra, or preferably a Pitts Special, and try a few inputs.
I certainly would not like to be in the real cockpit, though. I'd be in no shape to wave to the crowd if I managed to land after such assaults on my body.
Cheers, Mike.

Funny you should mention that, Mike as there's also a video of a Peter Besenyei display from a cockpit camera and the "assault on his body" is clearly visible. Well, externally that is - heaven alone knows what's happening to his internal organs!

Thanks Pete...I've now added that to my Favourites so the original video of the Extra is now number two on the list :)
