Depends, if you were on the flight and knew nothing about planes it'd probably rank as story of the month.
Of course to some extent the real story is how rare in flight shut downs are compared to a few decades ago, but that's just not very interesting to the general population.

Engine shut downs happen quite often according to the sight that list incidents.
