Very sad loss.I also loved the 'Young Ones'
Can anyone recall whether it Rik who played Kevin Turvey-roving reporter,earlier in his TV career? Kevin was a spoof character who spoke with a strong Brummie accent.EricT
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!

What a shock. RIP Rick. Loved him in the various Comic Strip episodes and as Mr. B'stard in the New Statesman. Very sad. :(

It really is a shock...ye was younger than me and apart from that accident seemed in good health...right out of the blue

Yes it was in A Kick Up the Eighties. Photo here: http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-27770533 I did need the BEEB to remind me of Kevin Turvey.

I also loved The Comic Strip and he appeared in several of them 'Bad News Tour' comes to mind.
