Gaining and maintaining Type ratings

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
I have modified my instrument panel, fitted an HSI and RMI. Should do the trick, I can hand fly it well enough.

Rgr that Ady
John Payne did gallons of paints for the FS9 DC3's.. perhaps enough to cover our entire fleet so you shouldn't be stuck for choice

Three down, one to go and that will be done first thing in the morning.

Out of interest are there any good third party DC3 models or just use FS9 default?

Indeed Colin.. I forget the R4D and have it sitting unloved in a dark corner of my FS9 drive.

Re: Gaining and maintaining Type ratings
Thanks for that Colin As it happens, if/when I fly a DC3 in FSX, it's Manfred's v2 model but it's nice to know the MAAM model will port-over with the patches I wish they'd do more with the Mitchell TBH. I really liked that in FS9 and while it's been temporarily patched for FSX.. a native version would be most welcome
There can't be any more life left in the R4D.. I still have the original 2002 disc

4 DC3 training flights completed, request full TR on type.
