There is the Somali pirate freeware at http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search
Which could be used as a mission target for a Nimrod or Poseidon out of Aden or Mombassa.
I flew a Jet Provost from RAF Valley on a low level valley bottom flight into the Lake District, it needs to be planned carefully. Overfly any of the towns there (Keswick, Cockermouth, Ambleside, etc) and your instructor will fail the test and call off the exercise for that day....
There is an oil rig out in the North Sea isn't there? If there was a 'situation', then a Shack or Nimrod would be dispatched to get eyes in the ground.

Finally, I've found a couple of FSX missions on AVSIM that could be used with RAF aircraft, such as these two flights from the Iraq War in Operation Telic:
Discover FSX flight 6 : Iraqi-Iranian border - Military Recon / Patrol Flight Plan
Discover FSX flight 7 : (OJAI) - (ORBI) Flight Plan- Baghdad Cork Screw Approach

and also ....
Find the Tanker-FSX Mission: You are going to chase a polluting tanker leaving Douala (Cameroon) so that a journalist can take pictures as evidence. Could this be an antiterrorist flight, conducted by a Nimrod from??
