Re: Prepar3d V2.3 out!
Yep. I see the Avsim forums are full of people complaining about CTDs already.
Seems the 2.3 patch needs to be installed over v2.2 without the hotfix installed for some reason. I'm going to do a full install anyway.
FSUIPC will cause a crash too, until Pete releases a new version. He's away until the 17th I think, so nowt can be done about that yet.

Yeah just reading about the CTD's. Orbx Object flow also is a culprit. There is a FSUIPC 4.934f version that Pete built for the 2.3 beta herehttp://forum.simflight.com/topic/77186- ... /?p=469404 Some users have said they patched with the hotfix applied, and had no problems, think ill see tonight what other have said about running the patch over the hotfix.

I thought I had updated ok, until, after about 30 minutes, I got an R6025 error

I'm not in any rush - now I have my 74mbps connection I can download the whole installer in minutes any time - so I'll wait until everything is cushty
Complete reinstalls are an 'occupational' hazard.

The patch is for the older 2.2 and hotfix also. So i patched last night, forgot to screen shot my settings
but was working a dream last night, flew with an orbx weather bush flyers scheme and it seems smoooooth!

I did a full re-install. Working great so far (fingers crossed). Seems much smoother & I can crank up the shadows etc with next to no frame rate hit, even after I'd added in all my usual rubbish.
Have to see what it's like with ASN after that gets patched.
Looks like a winner to me.

Anyone know if the FTX UK taxiways have reappeared from under the lawn yet?
