My brother and I are always making very unsubtle terror-related (arf!) remarks in our telephone and skype conversations, just to wind up anyone who may be listening/monitoring/have hot ears.

We inadvertently found a great solution to keeping these callers away from the door, we bought a concrete garden Bhudda, we liked him for his chubby smile and he was going cheap as he had a crack on his base. We put him in the front yard flower bed about 2 years ago. I've seen Mormons, JW's and other preachy types approach the house, see Buddy, turn and go away. Great investment for the $10 he cost us.
