That is indeed a formidable timepiece! :-O I'm another one's who got out of the habit of wearing a wrist watch. Since having to cart a mobile phone around, it tends to double as a pocket watch. I should really grow a set of mutton chop whiskers and carry it around on a gold chain in my waistcoat pocket to complete the effect... They don't seem to fit these things with holes though; now where's my drill? ;)

Impressive hardware, Peter.
But by the time I finished reading it, it would be time for bed again!
Personally, I've often drooled slightly at the Breitling ads.http://www.breitling.com/en/models/navi ... osmonaute/
Can't justify it as I've worn a watch once in the past twelve years, and that was to ensure that I didn't miss the train home.
As suggested above, if you're chucking the old titanium one out, I'm sure I could find a space in the Museum. ;)
Cheers, Mike.

Hi Pete :hello: ,
Found numerous images for Colt GMT, and they vary considerably. Which one do you have?
Cheers, Mike.

I had one of the original Breitling Navitimers which I bought in Gibraltar...I wore and used the circular computer on it for many years, until I swapped it for a 9mm Luger pistol! My mate sold the watch many years later for much more than my Luger was worth and VERY much more than I paid for it originally...I gave away the Luger to a friend when I sold my pistols. However I did win one medal for my shooting with it :)

Please tell me the medal was for shooting whoever came up with "WattsUp".
It's not a 'bird', it's an aeroplane or an aircraft
