Perhaps not John. When I ran my last pub in Berkshire, it was about 15mins from Chalgrove.. Martin Bakers airfield and not once in 12 years did I see their Meatbox. I thought that was odd! I saw their King/Queen Air once in all that time :dunno:

Ah yes, the Hunter was lovely. Been a long time since I last watched one display. Is it strange to think the two seater is a more attractive aircraft than the single seater ? I can't put my finger on why, but it just...is ! The two JPs did a great display as well. Excellent pictures, Dave.

Cheers Paul. I always used to prefer the single seat Hunters, but the T models have grown on me in recent years!
The Rapide put on a very spirited display as well.

I'm somewhat annoyed.

I went along on Friday afternoon to watch the practices. On entering, I asked at the Friends of Duxford desk if I could buy a ticket for Sunday. The old chap on the FoD desk told me that ticket sales had finished on Tuesday and that Sunday was sold out, so don't bother turning up to buy a ticket on the day.
I've been a Friend of Duxford for over 8 years and attend at least one day of each show.

Great photos by the way, chaps.
