I hadn't seen it, so thanks for that. Since Duxford last weekend, my interest in current airworthy Hunters has increased. Much enjoyed it.

What was that Richard Paver Photography all about? :dunno:

Interesting to watch the pilots L hand working the throttle while in company with that Fennec :)

maybe it was a video to show off the photos and the hunter flight was fill in. :S

You're most welcome. I keep coming across videos that look interesting on YT and I often wonder if they've been seen (and I'm the last to know  ) so I'm always in two minds, whether to post the links or not, but pleased I did on this occasion.

I was actually very surprised how fast everything happened in it too (ignoring some edits here and there). You're right there Dave, he seemed to be working hard to keep her on station, particularly with the power. I wonder if Peter can shed some light on the task, being a venerable expert on these things. It was almost like he was having to "blip" the throttle in short bursts to stop overshooting the camera plane *-)

Yup.. that was my thought too. It would have been interesting if this Richard Paver bloke had arranged air to air footage so we could see what danglies the Hunter had out while the pilot was working the throttle. He may have been in that Fennec  I'd hazard a guess that the Hunters engine doesn't spool up particularly fast hence the amount of welly the throttle was being given. Come on Peter.. :hello:

Green with envy ! However, i was alarmed to see the very poor lookout kept during the photo session. PIC's eyes were kept riveted to the other aircraft for what must have been about 1 minute. Not good at low altitude where someone might be all too likely to gatecrash the party
