Was sat at my pooter yesterday at about 14:20, when I heard a roar overhead. It's nothing new here, of course, but my wife's yelling (also nothing new, but the two together make reaction unavoidable) got me to the side window to see XH558 zooming over at around 500-750ft, off in the direction of Norfolk. I'm guessing they either came from Coningsby (after flying with the Lancasters?) or Wadders.
Used to be a familiar sight round these parts, of course, and it was really nice to see, whilst not at an airshow or flypast. My wife was grinning from ear to ear!
