Re: Budapest Airshow 2014 Highlights...
I did indeed.
Thanks Peter.
A lovely city Budapest. Or at least the centre is. That's surrounded by a ring of communist era concrete and now by a post communist outer ring of shopping centres, IKEAs, Tescos, Macdonalds etc.
My Italian brother in law married a Hungarian and lives in the forest north of Lake Balaton. I have two Hungarian nephews.

I have to admit that although I have been there quite a few times, it was only to the airport for a brief turnround

I've been through the old terminal at Ferihegy which was/is tiny, depressing and predominantly poo brown. You could feel like you were in a cold war spy film.
The new terminal is ultra modern, but pretty much like any other modern airport terminal. The old one was certainly an experience.

Well.. I certainly enjoyed the Corsair and B25 NOT being painted in Red Bull colours. Never seen a MBo105 do that before either

Indeed, Dave - "Twirly Birds" to the max!
Have to agree with the paint, but then, we probably wouldn't see them at all if they weren't getting a tax deduction for the advertising.
