Of course if you want a real challenge, you could always set it up with the pitching deck utility :hide:

The Vic looks grand! Well done to the Flying Stations crew.

I'm probably the wrong person to ask John but in short.. you install the program to a directory of your choice and it will add itself to your Addons folder on the toolbar in FSX. In Victorious is a file called Victorious66.cfg.. cut and paste that info into the cvn_id file (found in the conf.d folder) and rename these entries so that they run consecutively. Open the sim.. fly to wherever you want (at sea of course).. click on the Addons tab and select AICarriers then follow your nose. You'll come to Victorious by clicking on the + icon in AIC (to turn the page) then you click on the formation you want and Bob's your uncle. This is the brief, one time user explanation

Rule Britannia! *cymbal crash* Britannia rule the waves. :tunes: Success! Never used AICarriers in my life but got the Victorious (and friends) to appear. Great fun and a beautiful ship! :) Now to find an Alphasim Sikorsky S-55 in a RN uniform.

And Brian, remember...if you half fold the Gannet's wings, it looks like it has winglets ! Its a wing wing situation 8)

As it happens Brian.. if you don't have Rob's Gannet AEW3.. I recommend you go and grab it. While it may not be the prettiest aircraft ever built, I consider the AEW variant to be one of Rob's finest and it is an excellent carrier model. View out is great and it has really good low speed handling.. perfect for carrier ops  Once you've mastered traps and cats in that.. move onto something faster ;)

Thanks for the 'directions' Dave. I'm sure it will be easy as pie... :wasntme:

Nah, seriously, I'm sure I'll get there with the help of your advice.

John,

Just followed DaveB's instructions and have successfully installed Vic66 and The Ark..it's as easy as adding a repaint to a .cfg file.
