Canadian woes
To our Friends in Canada, especially Alex,
Sorry to hear about recent events.
Condolences to the families.
We had some nastiness a couple of weeks back too.

Re: Canadian woes
I think nowadays we are unsafe wherever we live now these folks with 2nd century beliefs are in the ascendancy. I was particularly impressed with the way our parliament greeted the hero of the day Kevin Vickers http://youtu.be/DKZbdAQHLTc
And his quiet dignity. Says a lot.

Hear Hear Alex, there could have been more people killed.

Roger.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Re: Canadian woes
The Independent newspaper in the UK is today showing a cartoon tribute produced for Halifax's The Chronicle Herald newspaper by cartoonist Bruce MacKinnon to Nathan Cirillo, the soldier shot dead while guarding Ottawa's National War Memorial on Wednesday morning.
Quite a strong and moving image...

Re: Canadian woes
Looks like The Independent pulled the cartoon link from their site, I found the The Chronicle Herald's page from yesterday though...
