Cessna 182 for sale

Post by tonymadge »

Not the real one but its a 1/5th scale RTF with a wingspan of over 50"
I have decided to sell it as I will never fly it and it goes on eBay this week... Nice machine with 2.4Ghz controller, Art - Tech Cessna 500 with 6 channels ailerons, elevators, rudder, nose wheel steering, flaps and lights! Looks good and it has never reached for the sky, one fast taxi a couple of years ago before I lost my nerve :) It has balancer / charger and manual and a spare prop. Easy to assemble and ideal for a R/C fan. I am putting it on auction with a buy it now of £70 which is a good price.
If anyone here wants it let me know please, It's too big for postal, sorry. I live in the Midlands (Tamworth) so could arrange to meet somewhere if that would help.

Cheers Tony
ps I will throw in ALL those Aviation mags I have as well ;)

Good luck with the sale mate

I looked at this in detail when you first offered it up and were I in a position to have somewhere local to fly it from.. I'd have snapped your hand off. The shortage of a decent runway still precludes that I'm afraid :( As it is.. I've not flown any of mine for months now. My get-up-and-go has got-up-and-gone :|

I looked up some info on this Dave and they reckon it gets airborne relly quick so more of a path than runway  But since I got elected to the Tamworth Council I have less time for anything these days so it needs to go :((

Hello Mate :)

Yes.. getting off isn't the problem.. it's getting back down again. You need rather more than a path to make an approach and landing.. unless you want to get the glue out again
