Orion

Post by dodger »

Well it looks like it all went off ok,

I missed the launch live today and watched it yesterday until the launch was scrapped, it was great to hear that sound again like the other launches from Nasa,

although personally i would rather see us going back to the Moon than to Mars,

Just my two pennies ;)

I enjoyed watching it all, including yesterday...Today was the most flawless space shot I have ever seen. With no snags occurring, the main officers had nothing to talk about!

I think the Moon will be re-visited before they go further out :agree:

Unfortunately Joe, they plan to bring them back

They are though recruting people for one way trips to Mars :)

It nice to see that the UK is not the only place under an almost constant carpet of cloud! ;)

It certainly does Brian,

I can't think when it was but the most amazing picture i saw was taken i believe from one of the Voyager Spacecrafts of the Earth as a pin point of light, we are so used to seeing the stars like that but to think it was us i found it quite moving and of course "Earth Rise" from the Moon, they were the days!!
