A really nice collection he has there. :) In the 1961 pics I noticed a Dove with the reg G-ARDE; I think we have that one (wearing a different paint scheme though) in FS2004/FSX. Thanks for the link Garry. :hello:

Yeah.. lovely phots. A pity the Ind Coope ARDE was never done. I'd have had that as my personal transport :guinn:

After reading your post Dave I actually googled "Ind Coope Airlines" to hopefully find some color photos of their aircraft.

:poke:

Ah deary me  It's a nice thought though. I reckon Tetley Airlines would have been similar to that Hale and Pace sketch filmed on the Brit at Duxford  Ind Coope had a Rapide once too and I was never able to track down a colour phot. It was replaced by the Dove :cpu:

Out of interest, I located this article. Unfortunately, as DaveB said, no colour photos.

Hi Dave :hello:
I came back to edit the previous post with this update:
http://www.abpic.co.uk/search.php?q=G-APCZ&u=reg
Not a very inspiring paint scheme, and a very sad life story....incinerated at Darwin. Think of all the beer cans they could have made from it! :(
Cheers, Mike.

Agree.. the ARDE scheme is much more interesting. Ending up on the fire dump is a bit cruel. I'd have thought the metal alone was worth more than that :(
