Re: "News": Jeremy @ 'Top Gear'
I found that "top gear" had become an exhibition of sheer bad taste. I often wondered how many inexperienced young drivers were involved in accidents because they tried to imitate driving feats by experienced drivers seen on that show.
There is no good reason to stop the show, just re-direct it, maybe going back to the days of Raymond Baxter and "Tomorrow's World" would be going too far - but less tomfoolery and more constructive analysis of the modern car, and the sports like hill climbing, production car rallying, real cross country performance, what about tractor driving competitions? I recall Raymond Baxter starting out in January each year on the Monte Carlo Rally with a catch up commentary on the "Light Programme" each evening when I was a lad. Items on really luxurious cars that most of us could never afford together with a design analysis would be a delight.
Mr Clarkson is a star in many people's eyes but not in everyone's.

Top Gear doesn't need to change people who try and do the things they see on tv just need to stop being stupid. Young drivers crash due to there on ignorance they all see the adverts on the telly and think that wont happen to me well trust me lads it will. Jeremy is a star and in my opinion someone to look up to just speak your mind and not care about what anyone else thinks that how everyone should be.

Re: "News": Jeremy @ 'Top Gear'
Jeremy Clarkson is from Doncaster, West Riding of Yorkshire when he was born. He means what he says and says what he means. If you don't like that...well tough. Some people may find him offensive. No-one has the right not to be offended that's why there's an OFF switch. Top Gear is Dead Long Live Top Gear ( as High Gear or Overdrive, whatever, on ITV or Sky One with all three of them). No excusing JC but the guy only got verbal abuse and a split lip and most of us got that at some time or other in the playground. I know I did and I also gave a few too.
Got to admit it's a pretty good exit for them folks won't forget it in a hurry. Far more to this than meets the eye.

There's a huge difference between speaking your mind, and punching another person.
Kids scrapping is also different to adults doing the same thing.
We're supposed to be civilised, and that means a degree of restraint.
Where would you draw the line?
All kinds of sexual assault cases are coming to light; jerks believed that the rules didn't apply to them, and this rubs off onto the general population.
Lack of respect is commonplace, when did you last hear a shop assistant say: "That's $25.00, please." What you get is: "That's $25, do you want a receipt?"
It may seem minor, but it is the basic attitude that leads to stretching the rules to suit the ego.
Presumably those who are praising "JC" are happy about the activities in Syria and Iraq, after all, they're doing what they want, without regard for others.
I hope that you soon grow out of your current state of selfish mind.

right.
extend arm so that it's parallel to ground
position hand so thumb is up
point forefinger towards the accused ( no not me) with middle , ring and pinky fingers resting in the palm of your hand.
uno dos tres .
ever heard this?
Hey kid, are you the kid that told the kid that I'm the kid that hit the kid?
Well if your the kid who told the kid that I'm the kid that hit the kid ,
then , your the kid
see kid
