Sea King or Jungly

Nobody else has mentioned this so I thought I should ...

First time I've seen it though it looks like it was made in 2007. Brilliant and even better than his Lancaster programme. Probably not available outside the UK.

No joy in Sydney I'm afraid Rohan. "BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only"*.

I wouldn't mind, me Mum pays her licence fee. Must be the brother - he won't pay his licence fee; some bee in his bonnet about not actually having a TV :stupid:

*anyone care to fetch the Grammar Police?
It's not a 'bird', it's an aeroplane or an aircraft

I spotted this Prog just before it started so didn't really have time to post a HU. It was an excellent prog which brought home the emotional aspects associated with the Sea King, particularly in the SAR role. Coincidently,I've just finished reading a new book called 'Rescue Pilot' by Jerry Grayson who also served in 771 Sqdn and carried out many SAR sorties (mostly on the Wessex) including the disastrous Fastnet race in 1979.It really is an excellent read.I don't have the ISBN to hand just now but it's only just been published. :) EricT

Hi Tomliner, Thanks so much for that accolade, I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. For more information we have a website at http://www.rescuepilot.net which gives the opportunity to read the first chapter for free and also has a page on where it can be bought. You might be interested to know that there is a BBC Radio 4 programme this coming Sunday 12th at 1115 called "Reunion" in which I feature as one of five guests reliving the Fastnet. It was a pretty emotional experience for all of us.
Cheers
