Very sad but it gave rise to bizarre communication from the UK MOD who said that "the UK’s A400M aircraft operations have been paused." I just had a vision of someone in the MOD pressing a big "P" key and aircraft hanging in mid-air. Or am I alone in thinking this is an odd way of talking about it?

I guess he's treading carefully, not saying "they're grounded", just that they'll hold off until they have more info.
