Re: Blenheim
Thanks for finding that, Toby.
A neat looking aircraft for its day, but not up to what was asked of it in 1939.
I'd still love to see it fly, though.

Re: Blenheim
Saw her today, at Duxford's VE commemoration airshow.
Wonderful
I'll post some piccies if I have any good ones.
Cheers.

Re: Blenheim
Used to work with 'Smudge' - fine chap. The Blenheim is in good hands with him.

Re: Blenheim
Saw her on the saturday in formation with two Spitfire MkI's at Duxford, Was utterly awesome, though still slightly narked it didn't fly with the Hurricane too which moments prior was airborne doing a single display.
Re: Blenheim
A neighbour who lived up the road from me now sadly passed away, P/OJohn Frost, flew the Blenheim before the Battle of Britain. He was shot down over Holland but made it back home though his air gunner was killed. I often thought that the Blenheim must have been terrible to fly on bombing raids for it was slow and the armament sparse and sadly many were lost in combat.
