Hi Gents,

I came across this for when the JF Tornado comes out!

Enjoy,

Roger.

Great video! Judging by the numerous pics I've seen online that valley is a popular hangout for military aircraft photographers. The reference made to Carlisle rang a bell. Spent many happy train-sim hours running on the Settle-Carlisle route. :) Thanks for posting the link, Roger. :hello:

Situational awareness 11/10!
You've got to salute anyone with those skills....line up the runway, wobbling side to side? NAH, just pull out of a 3G turn and drop in right on target. :welldone:
Thanks Roger, well found.
Cheers, Mike.

Terrific video. Thanks Roger.

Reminds me of driving down one of those roads in the Lake District about 100 years ago. We were tootling along in my friends Triumph TR6 with the top down enjoying the peace and quiet when some airy fairy up in the air junior birdman went blasting past from behind on full noise in his Phantom. Nice car that, the upholstery was black when we left home.

When we lived in mid Wales our biggest problem with low fliers were the Jaguars....very very noisy, & because we lived in the lee of a hill there was no pre noise of them coming!
I was though very lucky to get a ride in Hunter T7 XL563 doing a low level trip from Farnborough in the early 80's, went medium height to about Craven Arms, then down to about 100', up to Lake Vyrnwy, turn around & then zapped our house a couple of times. Some loops on the way back. Only time I've been airsick due to taking photos & not keeping head still enough, did wait until we were back on the deck before throwing up though! Did manage a second trip a little later in another Hunter T7 from Farnborough, & later a trip shepherding a Jindivik from Llanbedr in the prototype Hawk XX154 in the 90's, some aeros thrown in on that trip too....happy days.
